Erotic in red
This concept shoot was born from a spontaneous collaboration with Sasha—also known as Xara in her performer world—where movement, shadow and raw expression took the lead. Her style is fluid but angular, pulling shapes that are both controlled and unraveling all at once. She oozes with an erotic undercurrent, luring the voyeur into tension and anticipation.
We had about five minutes to shoot, working with a very washed stage light that was throwing a very peachy tone. The direction became clear in the edit... push it, distort it, take it somewhere moodier. The red wasn’t just a colour choice, it became the entire atmosphere. Deep, saturated, absolutely consuming. It strips the images back while intensifying them at the same time.
What emerged feels dark, a little disorienting and intentionally provocative. The way Sasha poses is beautifully strange, powerful and like you're witnessing something you will never fully understand. Her body becomes shape, shadow and pushes the erotic form. The red takes it to a whole new place... What do you think?
